Step 5: Creating your action plan

This step helps you identify who the key players are in supporting and implementing activities to create an innovation culture in your local area/region along with a record of your key innovation objectives.  This could involve taking a lead on innovation activity or ensuring that your area is engaged with innovation-focused activity that is co-ordinated by another regional or sub-regional organisation.

The action plan will ensure you are aware of, engaged with and able to contribute to all relevant innovation-focused activity and benefit from all innovation opportunities that can enhance your local economic development.

Information collected in this step will be combined with other data collected to produce an overall Toolkit for Innovation in your local area.
