Consultation on High Street Rental Auctions

DLUHC are undertaking consultation on High Street Rental Auctions (HSRA), a new measure within the Levelling Up and Regeneration Bill that will empower local authorities to address long-term vacant shops on our high streets.  Consultation closes on 23rd June.

DLUHC are keen to hear from interested parties from across the public and private sectors, as well as the general public.  DLUHC want to ensure as many people as possible engage with the process to input their thoughts on how High Street Rental Auctions should operate on a national scale.

This is a technical consultation where DLUHC are seeking views from a range of stakeholders that will inform several areas of the policy. Full details can be found in the High Street Rental Auctions consultation document here: https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/high-street-rental-auctions

All consultation responses must be completed on Citizen Space: https://consult.levellingup.gov.uk/urban-policy/hsra – DLUHC are unable to accept responses via any other method.
